Russell Kohler

Project Manager

Russell joined the Howard team late in 2019 focused on the geotechnical foundation business.  Russell graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2001.  He has worked on several large projects in the Pittsburgh area including the Penguins Arena and several of new buildings in the downtown skyline, as well as several throughout the Mid Atlantic and Ohio Valley Regions of the country.  Russell has worked in the deep foundation industry for most of his career and has experience many techniques including micro-piling, earth retention systems, driven piling and drilled shafts.  He has obtained his professional engineer licenses in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
 
Russell lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife and two sons.  Russell is active with the local athletic association and coaches both of the boys baseball teams.  The family loves both Disney and beach vacations when their baseball schedules allow for them.
